A bi-functional external hard disk with changeover between USB or network connection without any problem.1) If the device is connected with the PC, it is switched on automatically when the PC is booted. The fan-less design of DriveStation 2Share provides for a noiseless operation, while the heat-sink casing prevents an over-heating of the internal components.

1) The dual functionality is given only when FAT32 is used. When formatted in NTFS the device works exclusively as USB hard disk.
